About Pasadena Playhouse:

Pasadena Playhouse has been one of the country's leading regional theatres for nearly 90 years. Originally founded in 1917, Pasadena Playhouse has played the role of community theatre, acting school (known informally in Hollywood as the Star Factory, eventually training actors such as Raymond Burr, Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman), and now nationally recognized arts and culture institution.

In just the last two seasons, the Playhouse has launched national tours of revived musicals, and served as an artistic homes for the likes of John Patrick Shanley, Loretta Divine, Kate Mulgrew, Linda Bove, Michael Richards, Annie Potts, David Lee, Bill Rauch, Steven Dietz, Nick DeGruccio, Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.

Directions:

From San Gabriel Valley east: Take the 210 Freeway heading WEST and exit at LAKE AVE. Turn left and go four lights to COLORADO BLVD. Turn right. Go three lights to EL MOLINO AVE and turn left. The theatre is 1/2 block down the street on the right.

From Santa Clarita area: Take the 5 Freeway SOUTH to the 210 Freeway EAST. After the tunnel, take the first exit (LAKE AVE) and turn right. Go three lights to COLORADO BLVD and turn right. Go three lights to EL MOLINO AVE and turn left. The theatre is 1/2 block down the street on the right.

From San Fernando Valley East: Take the 134 Freeway heading EAST through to the 210 East, exiting at LAKE AVE. Turn right and go three lights to COLORADO BLVD. Turn right. Go three lights to EL MOLINO AVE and turn left. The theatre is 1/2 block down the street on the right.

From San Fernando Valley west: Take the 101 Freeway SOUTH to the 134 Freeway EAST. Connect with the 210 East and exit at LAKE AVE. Turn right and go three lights to COLORADO BLVD. Turn right. Go three lights to EL MOLINO AVE. and turn left. The theatre is 1/2 block down the street on the right.

From the Hollywood and the Westside: Take the 101 Freeway SOUTH or the 10 Freeway EAST to the 110 Freeway NORTH in downtown Los Angeles. Continue on the 110 North (known as the Pasadena Freeway) all the way to the end of the freeway. It becomes Arroyo Parkway. Continue north on Arroyo Parkway. Turn right at GREEN STREET. Go eight lights to EL MOLINO AVE and turn left. The theatre is 1/2 block down the street on the left.

From Orange County: Take the 5 Freeway heading NORTH. Connect with the 605 North and then connect with the 210 West. Take the LAKE AVE off ramp. Turn left and go four lights to COLORADO BLVD. Turn right. Go three lights to EL MOLINO AVE and turn left. The theatre is 1/2 block down the street on the right.
